He got the plow encluded with the truck (03 f250 diesel standard cab)
He want to sell I want to buy.
He doesn't know what it is worth

On a new install, there is about 6/8 hour labor. The main part of the plow is about 1/2 the install time. To swap from one truck to another, with both trucks there, about 6 hours. It is not that hard of an install. If you have ever do a lift kit you are more that qualified. Please note there is a lift mount frame change for the 04s. There is also another lift mount change for the 05s. You can get instructions from Westerns web site. If you have any problems, please feel free to Email or PM me if you run into any problems.
7 1/2' std plow is a light plow for a SD. You can put up to an 8 1/2' Pro Plow on that truck. As long as you are puting the plow on to do your driveway and a couple of others, no problems. If you plan to do hours of plowing every storm buy at least a 7 1/2' Pro Plow. Also take a look at Westerns web site, Look at the Pro Plow Plus. It all depends on what you plan to do with it.
An almost new 7.5' Std Western plow ???? $2500.00 Only in my opinion. No standard problems to look for. Make sure to change the plow fluid every fall.
Have fun playing in the snow.

Yeah that plow is to light for and F-250, not really wide enough either,,well its better then a shovel,, but you may end up bending or breaking things ,on it,,,its made for a 1/2 ton truck or Bronco/Blazer size !
I push a 9' Fisher MM on my F-350, sags maybe 3/4 of an inch when I lift it,,and it is like 900 lbs,,, up to you !!
Later,,,,,,,,,,,Mark

Would this plow fit the bill for my needs or is it too much plow or too little
I have been thinking of offering him $1,000 Firm for the plow and his help in switching it from his truck to mine. Am I out of line with that?
One more thing.. His truck has a front shock type steering stabilizer mounted on a frame tab and the sway bar... I have that tab and sway bar but no stabilizer. Is this required/recomended for the plow hook up

I can't believe someone would think that it would take more then 2 hours max to swap plows from one truck to another, to install a 8ft pro plow on the bosses wifes SD it toke 1:15min, that was our first time and it was no big deal. $2000 to $2650 sounds about right for the plow, all depends how beat up it is. It usilly costs around $250 to $350 to have one installed, price would stay about the same to swap, not allot of work...
