Getting rid of a dump body.

I'm about ready to take the all metal dump body off of my 32 BB and it's not going back on. Is there a market for something like this or do I make it a boat ancore?

Pat , If it's all steel , scrap is at an all time high !
You can probably get quite a few bucks from a scrap yard, to pay for other things for the truck ,or for beer money to keep things moving.

While just starting to dig into this truck I've found that the dump body and mechanism are in really good shape. I hate to drag it off to the scrap yard and dealing with the brainless phone calls that come from putting it in the paper just isn't what I want right now. If anyone has an interest in it please let me know before it's gone forever. I'd rather see it used than left to rot.

Had to read the title twice as I'm a bit dyslexic and I thought I was looking at the New Jersey forum.

Just saw a flash of something about dumping bodies, and well, you know . . .

Dump body

If someone were to make me an offer I'm sure things would work out just fine. I'm not looking to make a profit here, just to prevent this thing from rotting away on the ground.

Great, look forward to hearing from him. I just scanned in some pictures and should have them in my gallery by tomorrow if time allows.

Dump body

I've got the bed off and it's sitting at the top of my driveway. The lifting mechanism is still attatched to the frame but I hope to have it off ASAP. Let me know if you'd like to take a look.

This Dumping body thread has attracted a couple of people. Maybe we can keep going with this one to get some people interested in the Ct. Chapter? On second thought maybe not, it would probably only attract the wrong kind of people.
