1969 Ford Super Van... what is a Super Van?

I just bought a 1969 Ford Super Van and was wondering what super van means? Does this van have common parts with the 75 and newer body style or are they totally differnt?

Thanks,
Clayton

if i am not mistaken, mid 74 was the body change. supervans were usually an extended version of a regular van. usually had a section about 18 inches long added on the very rear of the body. i beleive they came as 1/2 ton-1 tonin 69/70, and only came in the 3/4 and 1 ton versions starting in 71 or 72.
