Smile tilt steering column

Has anyone had experience in installing a tilt steering column in a 65 rancehero? If so, what make column did you use? Any helpful hints would really be appreciated.

You might look at what the Mustang guys are doing. I have a 65 and I recall a tilt being put in one. You'll look at a 68 and later box as the 67 and earlier have the long shaft as your Ranchero/Falcon has. This will help you get started. Good Luck

Ditto Rodbender's comments. Did this swap a few times many years ago. Not a nut and bolt, but pretty close. I understand some of the street rod parts suppliers have pieces that work, like Flaming River and Ididit. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I have been looking for a mustang column here locally, but not too hard as of yet.
