JBL amp will not work

I have a 1995 ford explorer with the JBL premium sound system. All aspects of the system work well, 6cd, cassette, radio. However, the amp and subwoofer do not seem to work.

I have checked both fuse panels and they are fine - any idesa before I remove the unit?

Thanks!

Check power at the amplifier, if power then the sub could possible be blowe, also is there a fusible link? Check it out, good luck!

check out your remote turn on lead, also your grounding on the amp, make sure it's clean of paint and dirt and grime, also check all connections, make sure they're in the right places, i would take out HU make sure cables are all on it and plugged in, RCA's can come undone.. umm.. make sure you're fuses arent blown, some fuses that can seem totally irrelavant can be blown, and cause weird things.. if that fails, totally uninstall and reinstall, takes a while but may be worth it
