Hi, I bought a 1966 Ranchero, it is unrestored, almost totally original (including vacuum lines, engine has never been apart. About 212,000 miles and the interior shows it. It has been in one family since new, and maintained by Ford mechanics, occasionally.
Now starts it's new life.

Thank you. The exterior body is excellent with all chrome and emblems, very few dings, paint is original and hasn't been waxed in probably the last 25 years (needs a new paint job sometime), there is no floor in front of the passenger seat, and the seats are totally shot. The bed is in great shape, nobody dumped anything in it to damage it. Because the engine has never been opened the valve seats have never been taken care of for no lead gas, so I will put a pair of 351W heads I have laying around in it soon. That will take care of the engine until I decide to either rebuild or put a 302 in. It also needs an exhaust system immediately, which will probably be Hooker headers into an Xsystem with some nice mufflers.
It runs very nice, which is surprising considering the high miles on it.
And it doesn't have a computer or sensors, pollution control consists of a PCV.

I should add a little more. I keep telling my sons they should drive it. "Return to those days of yesteryear with manual 4 wheel drum brakes, and manual steering". So far they have not taken the keys.
