Engine swap into a ****** Jeep

I was given a '48 ****** without a transmission/ transfer case. Which 4 cyl. engine/trans/xfer combination can I swap in? What vehicle will it come out of??

The original ones in "like new" condition have been hoarded and are available from WWII sites around the country.
I'd google it out and find the exact parts.
