What all parts are you looking for, I may have some, if parts from a 71 will help, not sure what year the other 2 are, probably should look...

He didn't say anything about the rear window... I only have the one windsheild that isn't here, well, maybe another, have to go look now... I had another 71 that I still have some parts from, may have to pick them up and bring here, need to do that anyway. Windshields can be taken from late 60's to 79. Don't worry, you've got dibs for now.

Hey...quit hijacking my thread darnit! Bumpers...I need good clean chrome front and rear bumpers...windshield...those are the biggies now...if anyone has a good straight hood that might be good too. Mine isn't bad...I can fix it but if I could find a straighter one I might snag it.

I'll have a look, the bumper from the 71 had a meltdown... wasn't straight anyway. I do have the hood, it was in great shape, and some other odds and ends. I'll have to get a look at that stuff, it's closer to you than I am... I'll have to check on the windshield, see if I have a good one here, the other is still in south Dakota, and I don't know when I'm headed back out that way yet.

Need an opinion while I have your attention. What would you pay for the following : 1984 f100 or 150 ( not sure ) short bed step side, fresh ( cheap ) metalica blue paint on a straight rust free texas body. 30,000 miles on a rebuilt 300 I6 - auto, headers, aftermarket intake, performance cam...other new parts. Damn cute little truck. They want $3000.... What do you think?

I have what I think is a 67-72 chrome rear bumper that made it's way on to an 84 F150 parts truck. It's straight and has scuffs that I have buffed a couple off - might be daily driver quality, but not show quality unless refinished. Also have a 69 that runs and drives, but it's rough. I'm in Adel.

That step side sounds about like they are selling it at cost, I could easily see spending that much just on the work they have done. Look the body work over real good, maybe even take it to a body shop and see if they can find any trouble spots like poor repair practices, that would be my first concern. Being from Texas has it's downside too, they don't really rust, but they do sand blast, and when you bring them back up here, then they REALLY rust, so have a look at that too.

That doesn't sound like wholesale to me the price is ok but I paid $2500 for my 86, and 1765 for the wifes 89 bronco so that price is not wholesale. But fellro is correct if you bring a southern truck into Iowa they rust apart almost before the first winter is finish the best thing to do would be to take it immediatly to a reputable place for undercoating, and have it done right that will save the body.
I think that price is fair, although you didn't mention whether 2wd or 4wd if 2 wd then maybe a little high.
