Hi Everyone,
Here's my first post -
I have a broken shift lever ( the plastic piece at the lever end that houses the overdrive switch ) it's actually called the transmission control switch.
Is this end piece replaceable ? Is it necc to replace the whole gearshift lever ?

Mine broke a ways back, too. It was only a few bucks at the dealer. They only carried the newer model which is more beefy, a little bonus. It has never broken again.

 

If it's the same piece you're thinking of...mine broke a few months back. The black plastic ring on the end which surrounds the overdrive button broke off. It's snap on, but one of the little locking arms was broken. I superglued it in place, careful not to get the superglue on the overdrive button! Works just fine now!

I was thinking super glue or epoxy too.
we'll give it a shot, not sure how hard it is to replace -
