What happened to plain Doritos?

The Nacho Cheesier taste ok but they leave all the crud on your hands. The plain ones didn't do that.

they are still around but these cooler ranch, spicey ranch, glacamoloy, and rolitios are just a way to increase sales and renew interest in the product with the bottom line being money!

Doritos and Pepsi..that was a meal, when I was in college.

Look at the bottom shelf. They are "targeting" people to buy the "new" stuff and increase their sales. Also some stores put all of the non-flavored types in one area.

the 'plain ones' were the nacho cheese, not the nacho cheesIER (or so I assume)

I dunno, I really liked the Sonic Sour Cream and Appplwood Smoked BBQ they had out a few years ago, but disappeared darn quickly. And I don't think I 've seen plain ones for at least 5 years.

The nacho cheesier are the plain ones now....... I don't care for the added cheese powder.... I like the salsa verde myself, just the right blend of spice, cheese, and lime.

I was a Doritos Cooler Ranch kinda guy... but I definately dig the Salsa Verde. Right now I am eating Doritos Toasted Corn... they taste like Fritos and are the same color.

My favorite Doritos were the Taco Flavored ones (Not to be corn-fused with the Taco Bell Doritos that came along years later) . I haven't seen them around in years and years. I had even forgotten about them until one day while eating a PB&J. I had a wierd deja vu moment when I remembered that taste. I have mentioned it to friends and they think I am crazy, they've never heard of them.
