Southwest Ohio Get together..........
i am interested in planning a southwest ohio get together. everyone is welcome to come. i was wanting to talk to you all and see about planning it for either labor day weekend or the weekend after that. i will have to find the exact dates. where i was thinking about meeting at was someplace like dave and busters or a park. even after the park we could go out for some drinks. at the park it would give us all a chance to talk and get to know each other. we could even bring drinks and grill out. we could make it where we each bring our own stuff even. so that way we could grill out or you could stop at good ol' KFC and get yourself some chicken. if you have any suggestions please feel free to submit them and please let me know what weekend would be best. we can finalize the details in the very near future. i want to plan this thing that far out so others can make plans to be there if they would like.

ok, then lets plan this thing for the weekend after labor day. does anyone have any suggestions on what they might like to do or a place to meet?? we could go to D&B, there we can drink, eat and play games and pool or we could do the park thing or meet at another place. anyone else in on it??
if we meet at a park or someones house or some place like that i have a set of corn holes i can bring for us to play. if someone else has a set they could bring theirs if they wanted and we could get more that one game going at a time if enough people come.

i figured middletown qould be a good place for all of us to meet up. its kind of a halfway point from people in the cincy area and dayton area that want to come.
OldBLueFord, the sonic you are talking about is the one thats close to the mall right?? maybe we could meet at a park then cruise there and show off our trucks or something. do you know of any parks in middletown that we could meet at?? maybe close to the sonic?? also maybe talk to sonic to see if its cool with them for us to cruise in there. i live close to middletown but to frequent there much. i could also ask my boss at work. he lives in middletown as well. we will plan the meeting to take place on saturday september 11, 2004 will be the day.

I could go for the park thing or Sonic but not on the 11th of sept. I'm open on Sept 4 (sat), 12 (sun) or 18 (sun). I would like to meet more of you guys.
I found a list of parks in Middletown. Middletown parks
I vote for Smith's Park. It's big enough and it's the only one with grills.
Sorry I haven't been here for awhile.

Actually Smith Park is on the westside of town and I believe along the Great Miami River on RT 73. "96 acres"
There's also Douglass Park, which is in the middle of a neighborhood. Along RT 4 on the westside of town. "27 acres"
Both of these parks have grills. I'll check out Butler Co's website for more parks.
Edit: Sebald Park is a county park but is west of Middletown/north of Trenton on Elk Creek rd. "267 acres"
