You're in Illinois just wait the weather will change any minute now.
But yes I agree this is the mildest summer I think I can ever remember. I don't mind the weather but the younguns are getting ticked about the fact we have only used the pool about half a dozen times this year.

I'm not really liking this cold weather. The temps have been like 20 degrees below normal lately. At least it hasn't been rainy. Perfect weather for me would be mid-80s, sunny, no wind!

You gotta love it! Lots of people "complaining" about it being cold now and it's 50-something. Just wait until January with that wonderful wind off the lake.

Alright guys, I came from 115 degree summer days where the nights cool down to a balmy 95 degrees. I came to Illinois to visit last October and this is what it felt like. I was only wondering what happened to the warm days of summer.....This IS nice weather to be having. And yes, am already having nightmares of what this winter will be like........

Ok NascarNut. You can have lots of snow. So long as it doesn't scare me too awfully much. My Dad would be terribly disappointed if I run back to Arizona screaming......
lol lol ..............

Is 2 feet to much? Ice is really fun too!

Shoot, if you get scared drag your dad to Arizona with you!
I really do like it out west though, the mountains are beautiful.

Two feet? Is that all? Ice? Bring out the skates!
Truthfully. I do get homesick for the west. Then, I think about what's there and I am very glad to be here. Even more tickled that the nightmares have stopped. I honestly think Dad would move heaven and earth to keep me from going back to Az. He knows I don't have any reason to go back.
