If any of you guys are into the oil burners, this is a must see event.
This isn't county fair stuff either. And I don't mean to be disrespectful with that statement. I like county fairs as much as anyone.
Here is a link.

Things are going fairly well this summer. New grandson this spring. My son called off his wedding, totally. Thats another story, but it involved his bachelor party, need I say more. , My Dad just almost died from a simple hernia surgery. Enough of that. Seems like there is not enough time anymore.
The 82 with the swapped 460 is doing fine this time around. It gets used when there is serious work to be done, or for back-up wheels. Don't want to scratch the good ones. My son just bought a newer Powerstroke. He sold his 97 P/S 4x4 and bought a 2000 F-250, Superduty 4x4 with the Powerstroke.
I can't decide if I will hit the Friday night stuff or the drags on Sunday at T.H. We caught the Friday events last year. Quite a show!!
But the straight truck pulls could be really good too.
Take care.

Superdave: It sounds like you are having some trying times lately. Congrats on your new grandson, I hope your Dads doing well after his surgery.
I looked over the link and it looks like it will be quite a show, I'm about due for a day off, might try to make it on one of the days. Will have to see what goes on latter this month.

I did not get to watch the drag races last year. I just chose the night that had the big tractor pulls, open class truck pulls, etc.
Money is tight this year again. So I am trying to decide which event I want to watch.
Good luck, racing!

How did it go for you at T.H.?
I did not make any of it.
My siblings and I, and our families moved my parents from their home of 34 years through that weekend and the whole following week.
The health problems of my Dad (78) and Mom (73) warranted the move into something smaller and with no maintenance.
Oh well, there will always be next year, and I still have my Dad.
