Old87- I think a meet in Athens would be wonderful. As long as it's ok with everyone else. I'm just chapter leader, you don't have to ok everthing with me that you want to do. I just like being invited to things. Especially with my new friends I've found here on FTE . Ok. Now that that is out of the way, where and when. I'm not sure about prices in Athens, that was a motel in Macon that we stayed at. I will be out of town from July 3rd until July 11th as far as I know now. We will be visiting my in-laws in West Virginia. But if that is the only time everyone else can make it, go for it. I'll just have to miss out on this one. So everybody speak out!! BTW if anyone has any ideas we could use for a state chapter t-shirt please let me know. I'm coming up a total blank on this one.

im pretty free for the most part especially if it is on a weekend, but i will have to see if i will even be able to afford to come, we shall see what happens when we get times, places, and prices.

 

Looks like at this time we could do it on the 17th or 31st.
On the tee shirt idea, i'll have to give it more thought to give my feedback.....I do like the idea of a Ga design, didn't Ken mention a redesign of the FTE tee shirt coming soon?

Since there hasn't been too much response mayhaps we should wait till the October deal and maybe plan a winter event then.
My problem right now is home repair is zapping any and all funds.

HEY ALL- I have'nt secured anything yet due to low turnout on this thang.
If ya'll wanna do something the weekend of July 30-31 lemme know if ya want in town or out and restaurant service and a pool.
I know a place in Sandersville that would probably welcome us, Athens would be nice for eating and all, but less of us would be locked up in Sandersville and they have a larger motel along with a pool but I don't know the $ needed for reservations.
Along with Sandersville being less and more of a drive for some I hope this will fare better for most.
I need to know if you are in or out as to reserving rooms in Athens or Sandersville.
July 30 is coming fast so grab holt or let go.

Matt-- for us stupid people, where is Sandersville? I'm game for either place. Like I said it's my birthday weekend and I'll be ready to party!!!! As far as food goes we could order out pizza to be delivered in Athens, not sure about Sandersville though. Just let me know!

Sandersville is in Washington county kinda between Sparta and Wrightsville on Ga. 15,I think. About 80 miles south of Athens.
At the hotel I have in mind they have a wicked good family style restaurant on site.
The ribeyes are friggin great. I have been stoppin by there for the past 10 years or so.
I just thought of Villa South cause everything is onsite, there ain't much else to Sandersville cept for micky d's ,wendy's, kfc and a wal mart.
