Post Regional city Leaders

Hi , guys

l'd like to start talking about nominating some regional leaders.
in that we divide the state up into 3 maybe ....4th if needed......a Northern, Central and Southern......Eastern? territories ..it would be a way of getting more people together for local events and gathering...also developing the O.C. chapter as a whole.. Nic{DeckedoutF150} brought this idea up to me when we first got together....and it makes a lot of sense to do this..it would be a way of pooling our resource's together and help with networking,

so please throw your two cents in, and lets see where we can take this.

thanks.
Ray

Sounds like a good idea, just to have access to more local info for the different area around this wonderful state of ours. Like cruise in's, shows and swap meets. Another thought is can we have a chapter photo gallery, and local events page???

I think it would be best to have it in 1/4ths. NE, NW, SW, SE that way we can have a smaller group, and it theoritically should be easier for people to make it to events. Just my .02

Actually, I think it should be divided into 5 areas like they do on the news network ONN for weather. NE, NW, SE, SW, CENTRAL. If you do it 1/4's where do you put the columbus guys?

This is exactly what I was trying to say when I suggested the SUMMIT truck fest as a meeting place.

Ahh good point Kevin, I didnt think of that, and I dont watch ONN. The only bad thing about Summit is, is that there can be a TON of people there and you can't get close to it, but if we could meet early that might not be too bad.

I thinking the samething as I read Ray's post but you beat me to it.
The next question would be "Where do you put the Dayton area guys?" SW I presume.

I think that 1/4ths would be the best and just let the Coulmbus guys decide where they want to go. The thing is, is there 4 or 5 people in thoses areas who would be willing to be Regional leaders? We could always add 5th region if need be at a later date

Yeah Dayton should be SW no doubt. Cbus guys could kinda have the pick of the litter and go wherever they wanted to, so I like Supercrewzer's thinking. But I think the main issue is going to be finding people to fill these positions.
