Cracks in Block

What's all involved in repairing typical cracks between the bolt holes and water holes and/or under the valves?

If it's just the stud to stud crack you can just leave those alone. If you have cracks in the valves those will have to be drilled, screw it shut and grind it smooth. A professional should do that.
