302 Supercharger

302 Supercharger
In my quest for more horsepower I came across this supercharger. The description says it is for a 64-68 302 Mustang. Would this fit on any 302? I have a 1978 302 in a 1968 F100. Any input would be helpful, 2600 bones is a lot to spend on a part that might not fit.

as far as i know, with my limited knowledge on superchargers, centrifugal s/c's like your paxton are basically belt-driven turbos, with the lag eliminated via the direct belt drive system. the problem with centrifugal blowers on trucks is their power *starts* at about 3000 revs, vs. a positive displacement supercharger unit like an eaton twin screw, which starts from the moment you put your foot down. torque and power down low as well as up high from the twin screw positive displacement s/c's, instead of the high paxton/centrifugal 3000-5000rpm power band.
just my thoughts.

I entered the data in the Desktop dyno and got some decent numbers. 500 ft/lbs @ 4000 rpm's and 524hp @ 6500. This is with the stock heads ported and large valves(2.1 and 1.6). 800 cfm carb and a 272 Energizer cam. These numbers are without an intercooler and running 8.5 to 1 compression.
347 stroker 550ft/lbs @ 3500 rpm's and 500 hp @ 5000 rpm's.
Interesting numbers but probably would not make a good daily driver. It would be fun though.
