What MPG ? 1994 F250 4x4 Diesel Manual Transmission
Hi guys,
I'm new to the diesel world and thinking of buying a 1994 F250 4x4 Powerstroke with a manual transmission and 135,000 miles.
Asking $10,900.00
I am hoping to get into the 20+ mpg range.
Oh, it is an extracab and a fiberglass shell & a Bedliner.
I don't think it has been used to pull a fifth wheel.
I also noticed there is a sticker on the engine that says 215bhp@2000 rpm.
What can I expect to get for mpg?
Is this a good year/engine?
Is the Manual Trans a stronger transmission than the automatic?
Thanks in advance!
Larry

What MPG ? 1994 F250 4x4 Diesel Manual Transmission
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 26-Nov-02 AT 10:51 AM (EST)]Hi Larry, I've got a '96 F250 HD 4x4 PSD with a 5 speed manual and a 4.10 rear end, and I've been getting consistently 20.5 to 21 mpg:-) It's also got the extra cab, and 158K miles. No...that picture is NOT it...thats an '86 F-350 4x4, with a 460 and a 4 speed manual, and it gets 8-9mpg. Wannit?
