Sven Pruett's book on Ford engines

Does anyone know where I can find the book by Sven Pruett that deals with ford 6 cylinder engines? I have searched everywhere and cannot find one... I need it to aid in rebuilding my 2.9
Thanks!

Sven Pruett's Book

I have a copy of his book. It is not for sale, but I will be glad to look up a specific detail or two if that is what you need. The book is no longer published and a recent request indicated they would not publish at this time.

Good luck!

You know, this is getting ridiculous. If this book is out of print and the publisher has no interest in putting it back out, why can't we copy it and post pdf files on the internet? What are the copyright laws on this? Any lawyers out there?

Greetings to all the Sven Pruett fans out there!
I have tried off and on for the last couple of years to locate Sven's book. I was willing to pay just like most, but $60 plus for a book that retailed for $17.95, I figured there had to be another way to get it in my hands! Here is what I did to get the book at no cost. I waited to tell this until I had the book so I could pass on good info. I called my local library, they didn't have it, but there were 24 other libraries in their system that did. They ordered Sven's book and it took approx. 7-10 days to get it...This was over Christmas. I'm not a lawyer, sorry about that, but there are warnings on the inside of the cover concerning copy right laws and reproducing the book. I will admit I have copied music for my own personal use and I don't see anything wrong with spending a few minutes in front of a xerox machine copying a publication that is no longer in print!
Call your local library...It works!

John H.
