Anyone planning on going to this in mid-May? I'm going down with a few Ford driving friends and our wives for the weekend. Last time I went to Lima was about 10 years ago.
Should be a good time--IF the weather cooperates!

 

If the weather cooperates is right some freinds and I have been there for the last few years and man can the weather suck. 2 years ago it was so cold and wet I had to wear everything I brought. We have been camping just out side of town. Where you staying?

 

I went two years ago and it was cold. I plan on going down there with about 6 of my buddies.....gooood times. The thing i hated about it 2 years ago was all those damn hydralic bed blah

 

Yes, the weather can suck--you just never know. We're staying at one of the hotels whose rates are like $40 a night before the show and then $100+ a night during the show.

We'll have to keep in touch and if you guys go we can hook up down there. We'll most likely convoy down there early Friday morning and leave Sunday afternoon. We'll be sending in our entry fees soon so we'll definitely be going.

 

So where you guys from. What you entering in the show? The first 2 years we went we didnt put any trucks in the show and man were we dumb. for $60 you get 2 tickets and you get to bring in coolers with food and adult beverages.

 

2 years ago i was still in college down there UNO....hotels rape during the jamboree. I got some friends down there that live in delphos. Next lil town over...

 

I'm from Holland. I have a red 1994 F150 supercab XLT shortbox. It has a 4" lift with 33" tires. It has a mildly built 351: Edelbrock heads, intake, throttle body, K&N FIPK and true dual exhaust with no cats. Currently has a color-matched Leer topper but will take off for the warm weather and replace with color-matched tool box.
My best friend has a black 1991 F250 with a built 468! Nice truck. Another guy from work has many trucks but will probably bring his 1976 Bronco which is quite nice.

Yeah it definitely pays to enter the show no matter what you've got.

 

We're about a month away--did everyone send in their entry fees? Hoping to see some of you down there. Right now my truck is getting the front axleshafts reworked. One was frozen up solid. Also my crossmember has a major crack in it so I need to get that fixed! But I'm definitely ready to hang out and scope out some cool trucks!

Would someone post an exact date and directions how to get there. I kind of doubt that I can make it but someone else might want to go.

Less than two weeks now! Hope some of you will be able to make it. We are planning on meeting up by M43 and the highway in Kalamazoo around 9am to convoy on over and down. Maybe only a few trucks but hopefully more!

 

I will be there Thursday night. Feel free to stop by and have a cold one. I have a 99 250 x-cab w/ 4" Lift and 35's White w/ 4 PIAA's on the front Weekend Wheelers Sticker on the back.
