How do you pull the radiator drain plug?

How do you pull the radiator drain plug?
On my dad's 2001 F150 4.6L we are doing a coolant flush and we need to know how exactly to get the radiator drain plug out? Anyone Know?

I dont think it comes out. I think it turns open.
