Who want to participate in a group dyno run?

Who would be interested in participating in a group dynamometer run at New England Dyno this spring? I’m trying to gauge the interest level to see if I can get another run in this spring and if there is enough interest I will put it together. I’d like to have a mix of Dodge guys, Chevy guys, Ford guys and us Toyota guys participate once again.

It’s a good way to gauge how your truck fairs against other the competition. Last year we had an amazing turnout with over twenty trucks there and thirty vehicles that put torque numbers ranging from 205 lb ft. of torque with a V6 Tundra to over 700 with a Turbo diesel Ford. Like last year they give you a free lunch and if you are any type of driving enthusiast you’ll have tons of fun.

Please only say that you’ll come if you are serious about coming. The event will be on a Sunday most likely some time in mid to late March! Last year the cost was $65 for three runs and $10 more for air fuel.

I booked the group dyno run for Sunday March 21st. The price is the same as last year, which was $65 for a minimum of three runs and $10 for air fuel ratio.

So far I have four Toyota trucks, one Dodge, and one Chevy truck attending. Information on the dynamometer is at www.nedyno.com

Do you want to limit this to the truck guys? There may be some interest among the local crownvic.net (which I own) members.

OK guys too attend this dyno run you need to go to www.nedyno.com and click on the “dyno signup icon”. Select “John’s truck dyno day” and follow the instructions for signing up for the run. Last year it filled up fast and there are only 30 spots available so you don’t want to wait till the last minute or get left out.

Please only sign up if you are definitely attending the dyno run. If the crown Vic guys want to come that is OK. First come first serve!

Thanks,

John

It starts @ 8:00 am and ends ~ 3:30-4:00 pm. It's best to get there as early as possible.

You should read your owners manual about the break in period if there is any. Some manufacturers give you guidlines for a predetermined amount of miles and others don't. Usually after 500 miles it's OK to let it go WOT. The dyno isn't as harsh either as the real thing.

We would love to see how your 3valve 5.4 stacks up against the Titan and Hemi trucks there.
