I posted a pic in my gallery of my 99 with the turf tires on it. I have an 8" Fabtech kit on mine. It's got to go, 22" in my near future. Maybe you're interested?

Anyone know what they charged you or what the average Install Fee would be to install a 6-8" Lift. Not how much it costs, but how much labor costs. Thanks for putting up with all my questions. I just a newbie.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 27-Jun-02 AT 02:15 AM (EST)]Brad,

Check out that link you posted a while back for someone who wanted lifted SD pics. There are a bunch of SDs with the 39.5x18 Boggers. I think they look good and they'd be my choice of a new set.

Off the subject... what do you think of American Ironhorse bikes? Specifically the Texas Chopper and the Tejas? I'm looking to get one (prob. the Chopper), but don't know anyone who has the Ironhorse bikes (only Harleys).

I have only found one place near me so far that installs lift kits. They quoted me $650 to install a 6" Skyjacker lift on my truck.

2002 F-350 Crew Cab Lariat Short Bed 4x4, V10, 4:30 LS, Black w/ Med. Parchment Leather, Off-Road Pkg, Snow Plow Prep pkg, Heated Captain's Chairs, Towing Pkg, Privacy Glass, Rear Sliding Window, Power Telescopic Trailer Tow Mirrors, Auto Shift-On-The-Fly, Fog Lamps

Mods: Westin Nerf Bars, Front Side Windows Tinted, Bed-Liner, Tonneau Bed Cover, 16x10 Mickey Thompson Classic II Rims (not installed yet)

Future Mods: 6" Skyjacker Suspension Lift & 315/75 R16 BFG Mud-Terrains (coming soon), 1" Track Bar...

Chad....

I am kind of a bigot when it comes to bikes.... only a Harley will do

but... any of the aftermarket companies are pretty much the same... they all use the same basic parts (S&S engines). I would not fret over the company as long as they warrant the bike and you have a local place that will preform warranty the work. I know several guys with bikes built by the other companies (Ultra, CMC, etc) and they all have problems that a Harley would not have... but you have to give up some reliability for the 'cool' factor..... I ride an old 56 panhead and am presented with lots of mechanical failures.

PANHEADS FOREVER!

Have you looked at the Big dogs at all I like the style of those bikes much better! I looked into the ironhorses last year with my brother he ended up with a new Big Dog (Bulldog) the mastiff is a hot bike as well go to Big Dog.com!!!!! The horses were very nice bikes as well it was a hard decision for him!!!!!

I have looked at the Big Dog bikes, but I personally like the Ironhorse (Texas Chopper & Tejas) better. These bikes do come with a 3 year warranty and there is a shop here in town that sells and works on them. I too like the Harley, but I just can't justify buying one and pretty much re-doing the whole bike to get it to how I want it to look That's why I'm looking into the Ironhorse. So Brad, what kind of problems are you talking about with the S&S motors?

Will look around for those pics. Might have some of it with 38/15.50 Swampers. I will definately have to get some pics of it now. New paint and 44's. With the fender flares and 12" wide wheels, the tires sidewall only sticks out a little. The tread is completely covered.
