1989 bronco II clutch problems
hi, I own a 1989 bronco II, 2.9, 5spd, 4wd. 3 months ago changed complet clutch assembly. I mean everything including reservoir and pedal slave cylinder. worked great for the 3 months and had to tear it back apart to change throw out bearing, which was the reason I tore it apart the first time. put it back together ran it for 2 days nice and quiet. now the throw out bearing is making loud noise again. I know it was put together right. What could be causing the bearing to go bad? I have great pedal, easy in and out. also I noticed that I get a little grinding when I shift gears after I changed the fluid in the tranny. note: when clutch pedal is pushed to floor it is nice and quiet and when released and in nutral it is loud. any suggestions?

Huh? Slave cylinder makes noise? Bleed baby bleed. It's possible to loose pressure, just enough to cause partial engagment thus riding the throw out bearing like you're holding your foot part way on the clutch will driving. Tghe grinding is from a partially engaged clutch. Not enough fluid displacement from your slave cylinder can cause this. If it's not new fluid make it new.

thanks for reply but .....
I thought that to but I bled the clutch over a hundred times to make sure all air was out. I used almost 2 and a half quarts. I have no slack in the pedal at all. Could it be just another bearing. When I tear it apart this time, I am getting a refund ( since it is all under warrenty) and getting all parts from dealer.
