Hi all. This is going to happen, but before it does, I could use a little bit of professional input on how smooth of a transition this will be.
I have the whole donor truck, a 1988 F150 4X4 complete setup with a C6. The truck I am installing it in is a 1990 F150 4X4 currently with an almost dead AOD.
I will definitely inspect the C6 before installation. should I also replace the clutch packs? Put a shift kit in?

Any help is good help.
