my 1988 f150 300 6 cyl clutch master cyl push rod plastic bushing is worn. how do i pull the pin??

Just pull the pin, you may have to turn it and just pull it out, once out, pull the clutch rod off to on side and replace the bushing, though check the area were the bushing goes, as when it wears out, it tends to wear the linkage where the rod goes and you have to replace this if this is the case. All available through ford

Beware of the pushrod breaking. In my experience once the bushing wears out the pushrod eye usually breaks soon after. I have broken 3 or 4 over 100,000 miles. I have replaced the arm that goes on the clutch shaft to no avail.I finaly made one out of steel a few months ago. This one won't break.
