Off Roading in Charlotte area

I just moved to the Charlotte area. Is there any places close by that allow off roading?

I live in the Lexington area and i ride dirtbikes.
Some of the popular places i go that lets trucks is Uhwarrie..(spelling)
Brown mtn.. but you can only go down like 1 big road and thats it.
