Well...........for drag racing. The Halloween Thing at Dragway 42 was the othe weekend . The last HOO-RAA for the year, besides Norwalk's Halloween CLASSIC(which was last weekend).
Might be taken the '69 up to play with next weekend. The race car is done for the season, gunno put it away while it AIN'T broke . All we can hope for is some decent weather. It's all test/tune and gamblers races from now on.
The "big" swap meet is coming to Stark County Fairgrounds, like the first weekend in Nov(1st-2nd). Need to check...heck that's this coming weekend. It's a big roundy-round type get together, but there is some neat stuff to see too. I usually spend more time yak'n to friends and such.
A reminder.............JAN 1st at Dragway 42...............the "HANG-OVER NATIONALS". Fourth year running. It's always a good time. Dial-in will be 20.04(last year was 20.03). Run what you brung. Snow-sleet-rain-shine Check it out.

The hangover nats are basically a "something to do on new years day type thing. For those of us that AREN'T hung over. I'll try to post something when it gets closer. If you've never been to the track and are curious, it's a good day to go learn the basics anyway. Heck, for a small fee(or some cookies) I'll show you the ropes.
I know there is a link in my user's gallery area for those interested in some reading.

Well, found out this weekend that Stark County swap meet is THIS weekend also. It is a "Dave and Ed" production. They run alot of them around Ohio. Thought it was suppose to be last weekend, but I realized Saturday that NO trucks/trailers had gone by the house(the main way to grounds from highway) so I knew something was wrong.

yes.
Bruin52: yes I plan on going on saturday. (I live in Clark County about 15 minutes away). I've never been to the november meet, only the spring and fall meets. Lots of interesting things at those and a couple of nice '69 Mach Is too. Did you go to the mustang meet in Columbus in august?

Stan, You want to meet up someplace at the swapmeet on Saturday? Email me some directions from I-70 and I'll meet you up there sometime around noon if that's a good time for you. I get off of work and home at about 8 a.m. so I'll need to clean up and then head out. Send some directions and let me know where you'll be hanging out there and we'll meet up. Anybody else interested?
