5.0 gas mileage
I recently picked up a '92 F150 Nite and wanted to get some advice on the best place to start improving my gas milage on the 5.0L. I've read through some similar posts and am debating on what i should do first. K&N Airfilter, FIPK, Exhaust, Sidegap Plugs, Ignition, etc.....what first?
Thanks.

My personal feelings are to go with teh FIPK. This though it costs quite a bit, is well worth the Money!! I don't have the kit, but I do have the Charger. I paid $37. I know that I have gained at least 2mpg with it alone. Then go with a cat-back exhuast. Depending on what you want, it can increase mileage, but not as much. The aftermarket ignition should be high on your list. The Jacob's Mileagemaster is the best unit I have ever seen. AT $180 it will pay for itself in due time.

Also, upgrading the ignition can help some too. I put an MSD TFI coil on my truck, and much bigger plug wires (9mm) and ti runs better than it did with the old stock coil & wires. Next up, the MSD-6A! And a run on the motor vac.
