how many miles you all have?
Believe it or not, I have over 221000 on my 1994 Ford Explorer XLT 4WD, stock engine and trans. Runs great!!! Only thing I have done to it is change oil every 3K and installed aftermarket hubs. Just bought a 99 Expedition, hope it lasts as long as the Explorer did!

Lots of commutes to work in excess of 50 miles per day to start with, long camping trips on a frequent basis, that sort of thing. Mostly the work commute drives up the miles. I had a '93 Ranger prior to the Windstar. It was a three year, 48,000 mile limit lease...I had 80k on it after the lease was up.
It really isn't hard to rack up major miles on a vehicle when you work downtown and live in the 'burbs.

BTW...I bought the Explorer six weeks ago with 106,000 on it...I am led to believe it was a fleet vehicle a couple of owners back, hence the high miles for a '99. It is in surprisingly good shape for that mileage, so I'm guessing it was someone's road sales vehicle or something.
