1996 F-150 Leaf Springs

The rear end of my '96 F150 4X4 appears to be sagging. It is a short wheel base and the rear is noticably lower than the front. Does anyone know of a reasonably inexpensive way to raise like an add-a-leaf (what manufacturer), or should I just replace it?

Sorry, I don't have any insight into your question - but I do have a question.

Was this a truck that has been continually loaded down over the years? I have a shortbed, standard-cab 1993 that has the opposite problem - my rear leaf springs keep the rear end up relatively high (to the point of making me want to lift the front end up to level the bench seat back out a little).

I'm wondering if heavy duty springs got put on mine, or if the truck was barely ever used to carry loads.

Thanks!

If their sagging really bad, you might want to replace them, they could fail when you’re driving.
You could get add a leafs, go to:

Explorer pro comp also make an add-a-leaf.

Forget add-a-leaf. Go to your local spring shop & properly repair your spring set.
