Question Cylinder head work- who and where?

Hello y'all.

I'm back. Took me long enuf.

Getting ready to have the heads done on my 460.
Any recommendations for a good shop- or at least
those ones to avoid?!? These are '73 heads. Pre-
unleaded era for sure.

So this is the best of "WWYD"- what would y'all do?
Besides use them for boat anchors . I've got
both sides of the debate on hardened valve seats.
And I don't know which. I do know that I'd like to
do them right the first time. After all, I'm gonna be
driving it for a long time...

Thanks in advance for any and all help!

Cylinder head work- who and where?

I have my Aluminum heads done at Moritz over on Admiral & Yale. The shop guys are helpful & I've known 3 of them over 20 years. You have to tell Shirly EXACTLY how you want things done to get it the way you want. I'll assume they're either D3VE or D3TE heads & will most likely already have the exhaust seats in them. I have a set on mommas' '65 that I don't like so they'll get the D0VE's I have in the floor(I got 4 sets). I don't like them because they're prone to cracking.

Talking Cylinder head work- who and where?

Hey Qtrmiler

You are right- my heads are D3VE, block is D1VE.
Would you be interested in parting with a pair of
the D0VE's or know where I could locate a pair?
Email me in either case. And thanks for the ref.
I really didn't know where to begin.

Thanks again
