Progress on the 48 F1

Color sanded and buffed, doing the wiring and ready for new feet. More pics in my gallery.

What a beauty and a perfect green to boot! Something about the hood looks different- has it been chopped?

It appears the cab was channeled to match the pancaked hood. Look how close the door bottoms are to the running boards. Very well done!

These are some specs: 2" Chop, 3" Channel and 3" Pancaked reversed hood.

I was at Mike's house a few months ago and saw the truck up close. His workmanship is excellent. Lots of places where you know somethings different, but you can't put your finger on it. It flows very well and doesn't have that modified look. It's like Ford updated and restyled the F1 in '53 instead of building a new model.
