1952 F-6

Short story, because I'm in the process of restoring my 65 F-100 and I also have a 46 pickup on the shelf in my shop that needs doing, I am not in need of another project for the rest of my life.

That being said I have a new job and ran across a 52 F-6, out in the woods on a cranberry bog. Knowing that it wasn't viewable my the public I thought I would check it's availability and post it on here to see if anyone wanted it.

Well I asked my new boss to see if it was for sale , and he decided he wanted to buy it an let me restore it on company time in ths slow season.

So here is my new project, original cost 700.00, running and driving.

Don't know much about it , but here she is.

Sweet project and great boss. If you want to replace that rusty fender(s) with very solid western sheet metal, let me know. PM me an email address and I can shoot you pics.

You should take him up on the fenders. Dry Western stuff is the way to go. All my ancestors were on Cape Cod (West Harwich... Sisson Road). But I was born out here. If you had ever been to Kennewick, you'd know how dry a Western fender can be. I've seen the New England rust. Just sayin'......

I will definately be intouch, I didn't find out we owned it until Friday night, and I'm running to western Mass. and central Conn. tomorrow, so not sure when I'll get back to check it out closer, but I will make a shopping list when I can get back to it and let you know.

Added bonus on this particular truck it has a chrome screw on dealer lable from the Ford dealer a couple of miles up the road, so it's a local truck that survived somehow in New England.

Just from memory on a quick glance, I know I will need the left front fender, upper and lower, a radio, and a windshield and possibly a drivers door.

I"m really surprised it's in good a shape as it is being a local truck his whole life. Must have been treated well.

Good project Eric. One of the better resources for hard to find parts - especially for the big 'uns, as I understand, is Chuck's Trucks: Chucks Trucks LLC., Chuck's Trucks, Chucks Trucks

My Grandfather owned and operated a Ford dealership called Sisson's Garage in Wareham. He sold Model T's, but died in 1928. My Grandmother sold the business to the Suddard family who may still own it. Your truck does look really nice. Start a build thread so we can follow your progress.
