I went to walmart and let the engine run for a while and shut it off. It would not start until it cools off. Now that its cool it starts fine. Any thoughts?

It just started doing it.

Come to think of it i did get some gas in it.

 

What does "It would not start" actually mean?

Which vehicle?

 

It would crank but not fire

Its a 1999 F-250 5,4l

 

If it has an IAC replace it.

 

Just for kicks and giggles, try cycling the key a few times before cranking it. Checks for fuel pressure, very unlikely in this case, but takes 5 seconds and when its warm you probably have more like an hour to kill. I would work on other potential leads, and just keep this in the back of your mind for when you have the opportunity.
