Correct wheel color for 1967 Ford 600
Can anyone confirm or suggest what might be the correct wheel color for a 1967 Ford N600? The wheels that are on it are black with a silver bead but who knows what might be original or not even though the truck is ultra low mileage and I believe wheels are original. The wheels I have now are 22.5's tubeless so the silver bead wouldn't work and they would have to be all one color.
The truck is the medium blue color so typical of that era for Ford trucks.
Originally I thought it might be "Wimbledon white" which is really a very light gray. The color looks good on the truck and a search showed me a couple of examples. In searching sales brochures on EBAY, however I did see some trucks with black wheels.
Any advice or direction appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I have no idea if it was an original color, Ford for many years had a color called argent. (remember 68 Mustang GT steel wheels?)
kind of silver/grey. and of course you can go to a dealer and $pend big money on it, if they have any.
Rust-Oleum #7519 "Stainless Steel" is quite close to it. I get mine at Lowes.
currently bigger 14 oz cans are about $5.50 there.

Thank you Broncoman and fellow Buckeye.
I do recall that silver color from the 1960's and I have used that Rustoleum "stainless steel" brush on paint over the years. It really is sort of a secret because so few know just how good it is on wheels. Just stir frequently while using. If someone wants silver wheels--or silver anything--that paint is the best.

The paint I listed is a spray can. says Professional High Performance Enamel.
My dad bought a New 75 F-150 years ago. ($34??.00) I remember it wasn't over $3500.
I remember they came standard with white front bumper and wheels (white wheels came with argent pained hub caps). 1st option up (What my dad picked) was a chrome front bumper and hub caps with argent painted wheels.
My dad is a tightwad, the other options he bought were AM radio, Knitted vinyl seat, step bumper.

That was the only thing my dad complained about on his ford pickup was the heater. He was kinda right it didn't put out much heat.

In looking thru several brochures that I have, I see all different color wheel in the pictures. Even red shown.
I know my 1970 C600 came with the argent wheels and front bumper as that is the base coat under the newer dull aluminum.
Newer late 70's and 80's seem to show a preponderance of black wheels on the medium trucks, argent still being the standard for the light duty trucks.
There is also a difference in the Budd and Dayton wheels, the Dayton outer rim seems to be a contrasting color to the spoke assembly many times.
