Wireless Throttle 'Corrector' Gadget

I'm starting to see these gadgets that you plug into the wireless throttle connector that cancels/modifies the delay programming that opens the throttle plate in the throttle body for better response. Maybe this is not so much of a problem with an auto trans, but for those very few of us with a V6 and stick shift, it is very aggravating - hard to make a smooth take-off, and you just don't get that instant throttle response you need in shifting gears. I know part of it could be the MAF needs cleaning and I'm going to do that first and see how it goes. Just wondering if anyone has tried one of these gadgets.

I bought an edge programmer and it improved throttle response quite a bit. It also helped other aspects ie: shifting, torque, and power. Not sure how much the gadget you are talking about costs, but if it's close I would get the edge.
