1999 f250 5.4 no spark

1999 f250 5.4 no spark

Just got the truck starts when cold once driven for an hour or so it wouldnt start wait an hour starts did that for 3 weeks now wont start at all I changed crank sensor still no spark when i did crank sensor noticed wirers where cut and plug must of been replaced if its not crank sensor where do i go next plz help

how did you verify the no spark at a spark plug or coil. how did you find that the crank sensor was at fault did you test more than one coil. how fast doe the engine crank and get any codes pulled from the truck.

A cam sensor will not cause a "no spark" condition. At worse, it will cause multiple starting attempts as the PCM guesses at injector timing in the absence of a valid cam signal.

True but he hasn't told us yet how he has determined he has no spark,,,

Since a cam sensor won't cause a solid "no start" anyway, it doesn't much matter.

After rereading his original post I would check fuel pressure next since you don't think it is cam related. Still don't have an answer on how he determined he has no spark..
