hydravac to vacuum booster

I have a '71 F-700 i'm going to be getting soon. First thing I have to work on is the brakes since the owner says the pedal goes to the floor. with all the horror stories i've been hearing about the hydravac brakes, has anyone tried converting it to a vacuum booster setup like on a F-350 and lighter truck? I see Cardone makes a vacuum booster for medium duty trucks (part #54-79406), just wondering if anyone has tried it

I asked a moderator to move your thread to the LARGE TRUCK forum where you'll get more help with a question like this.

Remote mounted P/B booster is known as a Hydro-Vac, installed on F500 and larger trucks.
