3v to 2v swap?

Yes, I know backwards right. I have an 05 3valve destroyed, but have an 04 2valve complete. Just wondering if this would work in place of 3v. It's my brother-in-laws truck that has no money to buy even a used engine, blah blah blah. Everything looks ok other than phaser wiring. question is, will the computer default for no phasers and run ok, or if there is more things I am missing. Thanks for any input.

It will cause many codes and will prob run like crap. The 3v has IMRC, 2 cam sensors, 2 VCT solenoids, plus the exhaust is different. It will take a lot of rigging to make it work. What's wrong with the 3v? I think the short blocks are the same so you can prob put the 3v heads on the 2v block.
