Flashing a 302's computer
So here's the rundown before I get to my question: I am planning to build a 331 stroker engine for my little SUV, a 2004 Nissan Xterra. I'm planning on an ATK block, which is a rebuild short block from a 1987-93 Stang. I will use the Trick Flow Specialties top end kit, which has everything except lifters. I will also be using a Billet Specialties serpentine belt setup to finish off the front.
Now, the TFS kit has beefed up injectors and a lot of hi-power parts. It will require a reprogram on a stock computer. I would like some suggestions for the best place to send it or find one pre-tuned for this setup. I was going to buy a rebuilt computer then have it programmed, but I would like to be able to just get one that is ready. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

There is no such thing for this vintage computer... they are not flashable. What you will need is a custom programmed chip for the specific displacement/injector/MAF combo you will use or the better option.. a tuner like the Moates Quarterhorse and either you or a shop do the tuning. The reason the tuner is the better option is because it's very unlikely you will get the motor running the way you want it with the first tune so the tuner quickly becomes more cost effective.
