Ready Lift Stage 2 & bags??

So I am finally planning on getting my 20" wheels with 35's.....wife said I could get them for my birthday in July

So I am researching and I like the pricing of the ready lift stuff and it seems to be popular.

I have a 2012 CC 4x4 so I was thinking of the SST stage 2 kit but I also see the stage 3 kit that offers bigger blocks in the rear for their tow package.

Now I think I am going to put bags on my truck because when I load my 28' enclosed car trailer on it she squats pretty good.

So my question for those of you that have lifted your truck.....

Should I just stick with the stage 2 and bags?

If I spend the extra $100 on the stage 3 I think its still gonna squat the same amount and I will end up putting bags on any way....at that point what's the point of paying for the stage 3 kit????

Thoughts?

I can't remember if you have the 250 or 350. I'd say based on that answer would dictate whether or not to get the blocks. The 250 is pretty close to level from what I recall so you'd definitely want the blocks if you're going up in the front (otherwise you'll be nose high).

I'm going to send you a PM regarding the bags.

yea its a 250 and its very close to level......all four corners are within a 1/2" of each other.

So from what you are saying I should go with the stage 3 kit.....it gives you the 4" blocks for a slight rake higher in the back.

The stage 3 TP kit comes with 5" blocks but I think that may be a bit much since I want the truck to appear level just sittin a few inches higher.

Am I correct on this?

I believe the 350's come with a 4" block, so with a 2"-2.5" leveling kit, you'll be pretty close to level. Might be worth measuring your stock block, then go from there. I went with a 2.5" Stage 2 ReadyLift kit on mine (no block change on my 350) and it's pretty close.

out of curiosity I measured my blocks...they are 2"

So I think I will go with the stage 2 Kit which comes with 2.5" spacers up front and 4" blocks.

I see that the stage 3 kit adds the addition of a carrier bearing spacer.....is this really needed?

I wouldn't get the spacer unless you notice some driveline shudder after you get it all done.

I'd hold out.

Late reply have not been on in a while . I have the 5 inch block . Slightly higher with no trailer . . Im not a fan of level or nose high. Yes it has the shim for driveshaft Not sure about the 4 inch id say its like stock. . I like the idea of being slightly higher than the majority and looking stiock.
