Hey all, it's been awhile. I'm on the hunt for an old Ford wrecker. Pretty much anything '79 or older, F2s, F3s, F4s, F250s, F350s etc . Looking for project level trucks. I'm not rich so cheap is the price range. I've been combing Craigslist with a few that might be candidates. Figured id try on here. Thanks.

I have a 77 F350 that is my welding truck. I have been thinking about upgrading just havent fount the right truck to buy just yet. I think I would have to sell it as a cab and chassis. I will be home next month around the 20th

 

Found one!!

Picked up a 54 F500 for $1400...

Needs a different motor and a few other things, but all in all it's a solid truck!!








Even has the original keys, *****, and door handles!! Both doors open and close like butter

 

Now that looks like a great find. Congrats! Much potential in that project.

Its a 460 2wd.
If it was 4wd l would make a welding rig out of it and retire my 77.
