I thought about this for a while, but was brought up again today, so I'll start it and see how far it goes. I pull a 15,500 pound Sandpiper 5er i with my 6.7L somewhere every third weekend. The power of this thing amazes me.

 

I have a 30' Coachmen TT but it sits in a park. Looking to get a fifth this summer so I'll be watching the thread to see what others have. Already have enough truck to pull what I'm interested in buying.

 

I pull them for a living so I pull all kinds of travel trailers, from little 19 footers up to 16K GVW fifth wheels.

Just dropped off a 37' Montana this morning at the dealer in Katy.

 

Keystone Fuzion 315. 37'5" and 15,000 to 16,000 lbs depending on what toys are loaded and how long we plan to stay. It is definitely max load for a SRW, but the truck handles it just fine. I only wish I could get the kind of fuel mileage that some of you other guys are. At 65-70 mph, I get 8.5-8.7 mpg. Cruising on secondary roads, I have seen as much as 10, but seem to average around 9. The 6.7 is definitely a pulling machine. I have pulled in some of the biggest mountains East of the Mississippi and have yet to have a problem maintaining 60+ mph.

 

Pull a 40' 5er coming in at 15,400. I think I have about 6K on this 5th wheel so far.

We do some long road trips with it and a lot of tri-state.

 

I pull a 2011 Coachmen Brookstone 354TS. 15.5 GVWR. In addition, on occasion I have a SwivelWheel 58dw attached to the back of the Brookstone, carrying my old Wing.

I had a 6.4 that I augmented with a Hypertech. I really liked that truck, but it still could not compete with this 6.7. This truck is amazing. Climbed the mountain at Big Sky and the only thing holding her back was the twistys.

Oh and Senix.... brrrr man, were trying to forget that stuff!

Power of this truck amazes me ..

 

We pull a Redwood 31sl 5er, 16k GVWR, weigh in at 14237 with all our gear, with a 23987 CVW with truck attached. Handles the weight nicely, great power and very stable.

 

We have a '13 F350 6.7 SB CC and pull a '13 Jayco Eagle 351 RLTS (39') that weighs in at 12700#. So far we've only logged 1300 miles but have about that much planned starting next week.
I've been seeing mpg in the 13 range which I'm impressed with. Pulling our previous trailer (24' and 4400#) with the '03 Expedition 5.4 gasser I never broke 10 mpg.

Here's my current setup..............Built to haul my Jeep on 42's around, but the Jeep got boring, so now we just take it camping. Not really a TT or 5th.............But I am planning to pick up a 5th toyhauler within the next 6 months.

I love looking at other folks' trailers. Afterall, no matter what we tow, it's the reason we bought our trucks. I have three other trailers I also drag from time to time, depending on what I'm doing.

Now that is why I added "trailers" to the line-up. That is awesome! I have friends that go four wheeling a lot and would die for a set up like that! I have seen one on the RV forum of a slide in truck camper slid all the way to the front of a gooseneck trailer and up over the tongue, with a jeep on the back. Very nest way of taking your 'toys' to the mountains.

 

Here is a pic of the deer camp toy hauler I pull while hunting. As you can see, I lifted the trailer for a little more clearance.
