Banks tuners?

I saw on banks power website is an available tuner for the eb. I called them and find it hard to believe that it "doesnt affect your factory warranty". hmm, sounded fishy. I have used there products in the past on diesels, and have been pleased with performance vs. longetivity. I was quoted mid $300s for the automind. Currently ive been averaging 13 mpg with 3.55, so even 1 or 2 mpg more could make me feel better. I have 5K on the truck, and not really interested in voiding the warranty. Not sure if the tell me what they think i want to hear.

Banks has a very good reputation with OEM, so I'd heed what they say with warranty issues. I've known Banks to be on the cautious side when it comes to tuning, not going for just peak numbers, but steady and consistent numbers. Efficiency and reliability are their main concern.

Fwiw, my uncle has a 13 Raptor with a 5 Star SCT programmer. A while back he had a no start that the dealer took care of. They asked him for the tuner so they could return it to stock, do what they needed to do(can't remember details), then reload the tune he had beforehand. Probably a rarity I know, but it seems if a vehicle is well cared for and just has a tuner, the dealer is more willing to work with you.

I don't know too much about the banks tuner, but I see that Roush performance offers a powerpack kit for the 2012-14 f150 ecoboost that they offer 3y or 36k limited powertrain warranty, and advertise 50 hp and 86 ft lb torque increase over factory numbers, I have not seen any reviews on this conversion but would certainly give this some thought because of roush's partnership with ford, this involves a reflash and a cold air intake.
