dynamic and static compression

I'm building a truck motor going through all the paper builds , you know the ones you spend hours on only to find some new thread of information that changes everything.

So here I am rethinking my piston, flat to inverted dome, squish-quench, and cam timing. Oh last but not least compression ratio, dynamic, and static. When will it end thank god I have not ordered my pistons yet.
