#1 cylinder burning lean?

I have a 1994 f150 w/302, I pulled the heads to change head gaskets and the #1 cylinder on the bottom of the head is white, the only thing I can think of is its burning leen. The #3 head is really black and dirty. I don't know much at all about this stuff. Any help would be appreciated thanks

It's possible you have a dirty injector so it would be a good idea to have them professionally cleaned or replace them with a reman set. The PCV valve dumps into the rear of the upper intake and as a result the rear cylinders often see more oil, a fix for this is to plug that hole in the upper intake, put a longer hose on the PCV and connect it to a spare port in the vacuum tree.

Dropped all the rods that go to the valve springs, now I have no idea which spring they go to. Is this bad or will it be ok

The pushrods you mean? If so it doesn't matter where they go but make sure they are clean and not plugged before putting them back in.. blow some compressed air through them.

Yes push rods excuse my ignorance I'm new to this. Since I have my valves exposed should I do anything with them?
