Welcome to the forum, 5 finger. I'm with Joe, I wanna hear the story behind the name.

 

OK the name, it's kind of a mash up. 5 people in the house, ride because I love motorcycles...finger, that's at least mildly interesting; it's the only nickname that has ever stuck.

Years ago I was working two jobs and I got that finger caught in some machinery, resulting in 16 stitches and a lot if gauze. So, I took the next day off of my second job, my supervisor was not happy. When I went back she made a big deal about it and insisted I show everyone my "booboo" so I saluted her with it. After that the crazy Hawaiian I rode with started calling me finger and it stuck.

I bet that wasn't as wild as ya'll thought huh?

 

4x4, a 351 and under $4000. I'll get gassed for that
besides, the short distance I travel to work is hardly even enough to warm up a diesel.

 

That's a relief. I thought it was going to be about a stolen truck. Five finger discount style.

It was an inside joke...several members of this chapter drive diesels. So every time a new member joins that drives a gas engine powered truck we pick on Walley because he's one of the few guys that doesn't own a diesel. By the way, feel welcome to join us in the monthly thread. Pretty much everything goes...PG style of course.
