Plates are issued by the State: Department of Revenue - Division of Motor Vehicles:Regular License Plates

Your County and/or Municipality may add their own taxes to your registration.

Rec Truck plates should cost less in comparison to Light Truck plates.

Where you able to do it? I believe they limit your yearly mileage too, or that may be the insurance companies. it's been a while since I've had my jeep registered as a recreational vehicle.
