Post Code Of Conduct Handbook-Version 1.0

This is some general rules, mostly common sense, that needs to be adhered to at all times when participating at meets. We want you to be as comfortable amd safe during activities as reasonably accomodable, but here are some ground rules; As meet venues change frequently:
  1. First and foremost, obey all venue ruling posted and reviewed at the start of the meet.
  2. Keep all trash in predetermined locations or at least in a small bag (Made available) to keep trash under control. This rule also applies to smokers; Do NOT throw cigarette butts on the ground. Ashtrays/collection devices WILL BE PROVIDED.
  3. As a rule of thumb, we discourage against bringing children to meets (Unless special instructions are given) so as to help keep things simple, and to promote safety during activities. Be warned though, if instructions are given to bring children, they MUST be kept under control or you will be given 1 verbal warning to get things under control; Second time you'll be asked to leave. We are not babysitters, and no one will be held directly responsible as such.
  4. Alcohol is by rule of thumb UNACCEPTABLE. Period. Do not show up trashed to a meet, and if you do, you WILL be made to leave. If the venue ok's drinking (Dinners, etc) there will be a cap limit on the amount you can consume. Also, you will need a designated driver in such events. Drug use will also NOT BE TOLERATED. You use or show up to a meet high, you'll be made to leave and the police will be called.
  5. Language. Please keep it at a PG-13 rating, to help show respect to other members, and venue patrons. Most meets are public, and we promote a general all around feeling of maturity. Vulgar language will not be tolerated in instances where it will reflect on the Chapter. You have been warned.
  6. Clothing: Keep it clean guys, its as simple as that. No vulgarity, and/or nudity, no profane or racist remarks (Verbal or printed)

As long as things are kept reasonably sane, no issues will be raised, but don't be the 1 idiot that causes everyone else problems and a ruined meet.

Out of all the meets we've had, I have encountered 0 issues, but this is mainly for any new members to read and abide by.
